A SECOND man has been charged over the shooting of a suspected outlaw bikie in Adelaide’s west in February. On Friday, Crime Gangs Task Force officers arrested a 26-year-old man, who is a suspected associate of the Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle gang — the second man charged over the St Clair shooting.
The Northgate man was charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, aggravated robbery and discharging a firearm. The charges arise from an investigation into a shooting which occurred at St Clair on February 19, where a 24-year-old man — a suspected Mongols member — received a gunshot wound to the leg.
The arrested man was expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon.
It comes after police arrested a 26-year-old Ferryden Park man — also a suspected Hells Angels associate — over the shooting on June 2.

Earlier this month, police said tensions between the Hells Angels and Mongols outlaw motorcycle gangs had “subsided” after the arrest of the first man (link is external).
Detective Chief Inspector Scott Fitzgerald has previously said gang violence was unacceptable.
“We believe that the tensions have subsided in the short term, and we have been able to suppress any further violence, however, there is always that potential when you have gangs in the community,” he said.
“I think it’s a combination of a number of reasons, there is certainly some level of moderation between the gangs, but there is also input from law enforcement.”
Insp Fitzgerald said police would allege the man arrested over the St Clair shooting had used a handgun in the “targeted incident”, but would not confirm whether the second suspect also had a weapon.
