ANTI-BIKIE detectives have seized three high performance cars, boats and trailers during million dollar raids in the Geelong area.

A member of the Rebels was one of those arrested when members of the Echo taskforce and detectives from Geelong CIU pounced at homes in Drysdale and Leopold.

The warrants were issued as part of an ongoing investigation into outlaw motorcycle gang activity.
Investigators also found excavation equipment. Guns and drugs were found at the Bellarine Highway property in Leopold.

Police said a 33-year-old Leopold man, who is a member of the Rebels motorcycle gang, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, multiple counts of being a prohibited person possessing a firearm, theft, burglary and handling stolen goods.

He was remanded to face Geelong Magistrates’ Court on June 23.
“The community can be assured and confident that Victoria Police will continue its strong focus on any criminal activities associated with rival outlaw motorcycle gangs and any other groups,” a Victoria Police statement read.
